A different scenario using Pacific 1940. I would use them for an alliance of some pacific islands.

I don't know if when you received the previous blog it was cut off or not but if so then here's the rest. The shade of navy blue is the same shade of blue as the blue m1 Abrams tank you sell.

Well, the side is going to be huge. So about 30 infantry, 12 tanks, 8 artillery, 6 mechanized infantry, 10 fighters, 10 tactical bombers, 10 bombers, 6 battleships, 6 cruisers, 8 destroyers, 8 submarines, 12 transports, and 6 aircraft carriers.

For those of you who want an artillery piece for the Italians that is not a German 88, you might want to use the Attack Tan Army Small Artillery piece instead. You could do the same thing with the Attack Tan Army Small Tank, if you do not want to use the Panthers.

Hey Doug, you make your Global 1939 customized, right?

hey could you make the 1939 global bourd puchase come with an option to buy all the custom pieces included that are needed to play instead of going around and finding the pieces one by one. it would be very helpful and keep me from painting all the pieces my self. thanks.

You should create custom World War 1 pieces and even work on a game.

This is off topic but I dont know where else to put it. I really like your custom Battle pieces and was wondering if you could make a few more sets, for example a Japanese naval set containing Japanese Marines, Yamato Class Battleships, and Naval Torpedo Bombers, along with other pieces, and also a Russian Set ocntaining a Russian Home Guard Piece and KV-1 Tanks, and also British and French Sets, containing, among other things, Commandoes and Foreign Legion troops, respectively, and maybe an Ita

Italian set with Bersagleri Elite Guard Units. I know that this is a lot to ask but these units, along with the ones you already made would help me complete my Global 1940 varient. Thanks for the consideration.

The focus of my variant game is that certain territories can be used by certain powers to make those speicl units that are sold in the Battle Pieces sets. For Example, the Axis minors pieces can only be purchased by Germany or Italy in the territories of Finland, Slovakia/Hngary, Bulgaria, and Romania. Some of these are also Pro-Axis territories. And the Marine units will be split among the major Marine bases in the war.

Also, after all of your planned sets are done and if it is not too much trouble, I know that I personally would be interested in a structure set, which could include things like Air.Naval Bases, AA Guns,Major/Minor IC Complexes, maybe even a fortification unit, and maybe a Land Garrison thing to go with the Air/Naval Bases. Just some things that I would be interested in if they ever were available.

Another possible unit is something that is set in coastal territories and acts like an AA Gun against ships. One more idea(Sorry for there being so many) is a rocket launcher piece, so that instead of the confusing technology thing where by buying the technology all AA Guns are rocket launchers making the launcher a seperate piece. Thanks.

This is just a thought, but what about doing/producing the units which Hasbro/WOtC didn't make? e. g. bona fide French units (not the copied Soviet ones!) and real Japanese large warships like CV Kaga, BB Kongo, BB Kirishima, or CV Hiryu or aircraft Oscars, Sallys, and Nicks.

That is kind of what FieldMarshalGames.com is doing instead of supplement sets they are making pieces worthy of replacing OOB sets you should check out that site

Is it just me or is something wrong in the French Early War set? The List and colors that it shows are for the neutral set.

Great looking units. Not to be too picky, but the "French" units you're developing are really Dutch and Polish, Allied Minor powers, not ones that were a part of the Major Allied power, France. For that, wouldn't you need Dewoitine fighters, Breuget bombers, Soma and Char B tank, and ships like the Bearne, Suffren, andn Lorraine and Strasbourg? At least, it's just an attempt to ask.

Again, great stuff! Could you consider painting some of the TBF Avengers to the British and Commonwealth countries from A 'nd A Pacific, 1940? The use of Mosquitos as TAC/Naval bombers was confusing to a guy I played against. He thought they were medium bombers. And I've tried to repaint the units for use in "The Struggle for Europe and Asia" Boardgame I have. The paint doesn't want to stick on the Japanese infantry rifle barrels. Any suggestions?

check out the French stuff again. You're spot on with the pieces you've listed. Just another question with the German set #2: I know the He 177 heavy bomber made production, and even saw combat. I'm not so sure about the Ju 488. Any thoughts?

The new pieces are just wonderful. I use them in A&A, but they can also be used in Memoir'44 and Command Decision: Test of Battle (micro armor miniatures). I can't wait for more sets to come out. I have posted variant rules on BGG A&A'42 forum for the new US sculpts and am working on rules for the German sculpts. Final word...BRAVO!!!!

I would really love to have some more UK pieces like you have done for the US, mainly self propelled artillery and another infantry variant that could be used as either airborne or commandoes. Love the pieces that you have come out with so far, gives A&A a whole new flavor.

I'd love to have some A&A-aircraft-scale gliders (Horsa or similar) for some scenarios. Also, keep up the good work on the miniatures for each country! The Russians are looking good, and I can't wait for the Brits to get a similar treatment from you.

One piece I would like to see is a ww2 cavalry piece. They were used throughout the war by Germany and Russia and also for minor countries. Any plans for something like that?

I was wondering if the Axis Minor Ivory set was the same color as the UK 1940 set. Also, which of the two grey Axis Minors Sets is a closer shade of grey to the ANZAC 1940 set?

Hmmm is the light green polish/neutral set the same color as the chinese pieces in Pacific 1940?

I'm a navy and airforce person myself. I'd like to see South Dakota Class Battleships for the US, Fuso Class for Japan, Scharnhorst Class and a new U-boat for Germany. Perhaps King George V Class for UK and perhaps an Aurora Class cruiser for Russia.

The fuso Clas would easy enough use the Russian Gangut Class BB as the base. Modify the forward and aft superstructures, center the smokestack with one turret on either side. Then place two turrets forward and aft and presto! Fuso Class.

Would it be possible to produce Ju-52 transport planes for the Germans? And cargo planes in British tan? Love the website and cannot wait for my ordered pieces.

Wow, first of all, I love this site, great job on everything. Hey, I was wondering if we could expect upgrade kits like those for Gloval War 1939 and Midway for other maps too. Also, I know that I would personally love to see maps for events such as the Invasion of China, Battle of Britain, battle of the Atlantic, Invasion of Poland or perhaps the Winter War, the Fall of France, Belgium, and the Netherlands, and the Norwighan campaign. Sorry if that is too many ideas or is posted in the wrong

The units available for sale are amazing, but just one question: can we anticipate a british set in different colors for all of the commonwealth nations: Britiain, India, Canada, South Africa, and ANZAC? With that, and using dark-green US pieces as Brazil, I believe that that would cover my units needs. Also, this would allow me to use different neutral sets for different nations, such as perhaps using the light blue for Belgium.

I have a question; is there a way to make either the UK Carrier token in Olive-drab for the US? I'm asking because I'd like to use them to represent the Lexington Class carrier. Or even better if you guys would try to make a Lexington Class carrier token if you guys wouldn't mind.
