Pleasantly Surprised
I bought this kit purely for the soldiers. However, after opening the kit, I realized there was A LOT more potential here with the mechs. There is an impressive amount of care given to the detail and customizability for them. Even the rocket soldier looks to have two different options for weapons. This looks like it was a fledgling company trying to develop it's own sci-fi table top game. I kind of wish there were more kits from this company now. It has a very Mechwarrior/Robotech feel to it but in 1:72. I'm giving it four stars because it is a soft plastic kit, all the soldiers are still on sprues (normally each soldier is already separated in box kits like this), and my box didn't come with instructions...but it's easy enough that any builder with a few kits under their belts can figure it out from the stats pictures on the back of the box. I was also able to find the instructions online. In all, I'm happy I took a chance to experiment with this. HBG has the right price for this. Definitely get your money's worth for their sub-$10 price. I found other sites selling the same kit for over $15. Not sure if it's worth that unless you're an avid sci-fi builder.
