If you are depicting any army of around 1990 as Zvezda is here then you will need to include a weapon allowing infantry to combat armour, and for the Americans that was the M47 'Dragon'. Introduced in the mid 1970s, it served for a quarter of a century in all theatres, and in this set we find three figures associated with it.
The weapon itself is beautifully detailed, as is everything else in this set. The other two men carry extra tubes and their rifles, and everything has been done really well. True there is a slight loss of detail on the chest and back as the figures are moulded in profile, but nothing particularly noticeable, and with no flash these are very clean and neat sculptures. All three have been given their own base, but can also be grouped together on a single base, which is of no real value unless this is being used as a game piece
