The Alfa Romeo 6C 2500 Coloniale , or simply Alfa Romeo 2500 C , was a military vehicle created by Alfa Romeo in Milan . This vehicle was used by the Royal Army as a liaison car for higher commands during World War II. The Italians gifted one to Erwin Rommel for use in North Africa.
