Hasbro/Wizards seemed to skimp on production when it came to artillery, giving five nations identical 105mm US guns. With this piece, HBG helps redress the balance. They may appear a little Napoleonic, (they reminded me of Risk pieces), but they are accurate. It’s the large ‘spoke’ wheels that make them seem archaic, but as I discovered, they were solid steel & could be angled-in to create a gun shield. That would be an interesting mould to do, but might look too weird for some. With nice little details like the breech handle, it comes in ‘close enough’ blue. It’s (25x9mm – 1x0.35in) & also taller than the 105mm, but with its single trail, it takes up less space in a crowded zone.
