''Battle Pieces'' - German Exp. - Do-17 Med. Bomber (x5)

Do not buy this piece! It looks like a terribly detailed gumball machine toy.It is actually much worse than it's picture!

I read the other reviews of this piece and still bought a set. I would have been better off buying something else. Not an improvement over the OOB bomber. Only useful for something different. Even then, the quality of the piece is less than great.

I'm really glad this piece was included. I substitute A&A pieces for the cardboard squared in the board game Luftwaffe and I don't know where else I would've found this aircraft. It's a very unique looking aircraft that gives a real German feel to the forces of any A&A game. You will need to get out the hobby knife and/or some sandpaper to make a few corrections though.

This is a really cool miniature; the Battle of Britain just isn't the Battle of Britain without some of these crashing over the Channel. The wings on this miniature are slightly forward swept, which is not exactly accurate, if you're a details-oriented kind of person. I trimmed them a little with my hobby knife and now they are perfect. It's an easy fix!
