''Battle Pieces'' - UK Supp. - Swordfish Naval Fighter (x5)

I give the Fairey Swordfish 5-Stars for the model and quality... top notch, and I deduct 1-Star for the simple fact this is in no-way a fighter... the Swordfish was clearly a Torpedo Bomber and Reconnaissance aircraft, it was never used as a fighter. Nonetheless, this model is superb, and well sized to other fighters in the game and fits well on a carrier deck. It looks awesome on a carrier... I wish HBG would do a Blackburn Skua or a Fairey Fulmar for a true British Carrier fighter, but oh well. If you look at this strictly from a model standpoint, it is perfectly sized as a fighter, well constructed and looks good!

.. LOVE THIS ITEM BY HBG. GREAT DETAIL AND SIZE FOR THE CARRIERS .. THE GERMAN BATTLESHIP BISMARCK WAS DISABLED BY THIS WW1 FIGHTER .. .. LOOKS FANTASTIC ON MY AIRCRAFT CARRIERS .. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

In my opinion Anzac never had the opportunity to get some planes cause its less income in 1940 Global so i decided to bring in a cheap fighter with less firepower :) They were the only pieces in my order that were perfect out of the box... all other needed some work e.g. warming them up to fix something that was bent.. so definetly a good model Because of the german custom authorities (Zoll) it took them 4 weeks to get it from Frankfurt to Hannover... So if u think about buying by HBG and live in Germany u need a lot of patience. I know thats not HBG fault but i just wanted to mention it!

One of my favourite units. I use it as a tactical bomber and not a fighter, to be more historically accurate, as it was a torpedo bomber. Both the tan and celery green units look great.

These are a great addition to any collection. I really enjoy how HBG is creating nation specific pieces, it adds a level of accuracy to the game that I very much enjoy.
