US F4U Corsair Fighters (Pack of 5)

From Historical Board Gaming's WWII Marines Set, this is the way to go if you need more units of a specific type or color. It is available in 2 different colors, olive drab, and dark green. These plastic gaming pieces can be used in miniature games like Axis & Allies and Memoir 44.

Great Pieces But...

These pieces look cool and are definitely more historically accurate for the Pacific. The problem that I have is that because of the classic shape of the corsair wings, they have a tough time resting on the carriers. I ordered the dark green color , and they stand out over the rest of the US pieces, however I expected that. I think if you want a color that is closer to the OOB US color, go for the Olive.

Nice

These are great if you don't want the historical inaccuracy of P-39's launching from a carrier. These USN and USMC war birds are a great addition to the fleet.

F4U Corsair

One of the most distinctive US fighters, these are excellent units. I have several supplemental US fighter types, and these are my favourite.

Great pieces. Good size for Fighters and much better than the stock P38 lightening.
