The Lancaster is to the Halifax, as the Spitfire is to the Hurricane; its more famous cousin that receives more of the limelight. As such, the Lanc should always have been the choice for A&A’s UK bomber. (I use the Halifax for the ANZACS). This is a very nice piece that matches the existing units perfectly, with slightly more detail than the Halifax. The only down side is its size; it’s too small. Not that noticeable alongside the Halifax, but next to the B-17, it looks a little puny. In reality they had the same wingspan and virtually the same length.
