These are perfect for tracking convoy line damage and damage to factories and facilities. You could use regular chips, but these orange markers stand out on the board. You won't have any trouble spotting them, even at a glance. Counter chips can blend in with those under units in a crowded zone.

This should be included in the original A&A 1940 II Edition Europe/Pacific. It is not. These are great markers to help track very clearly what factories have indeed been damaged.
