Special Ability Air Command Platform
The Heli-carrier may carry up to 4 air units of your color.
- Air units launch and land following the same rules as Aircraft Carriers.
- Air units stationed on the Heli-carrier always participate in combat in the hex.
Special Ability Strategic Airbase
Sky strikers and Rattlers may land on the Heli-carrier regardless of terrain restrictions.
- This overrides the Sky striker requirement to land only on carriers, bases, or friendly VP hexes.
- The Heliicarrier functions as a mobile airbase.
Special Ability Command Coordination
While a Heli-carrier is present in a combat hex:
- One friendly air unit gains +1 attack value during that combat round.
This represents advanced targeting, radar, and command support.
Special Ability Massive Structure
The Heli-carrier requires 3 hits to destroy.
- First hit: place a damage marker.
- Second hit: place a second damage marker.
- Third hit: destroy the unit.
If destroyed, air units aboard follow the Aircraft Carrier rule and may move up to 2 hexes to find a landing location at the start of the Noncombat Move phase.
Special Ability Limited Deployment
Each Joe commander may have only 1 Heli-carrier in play at a time.
