G or ingame Sturmpanther was proposed in October 1944 by Krupp. It was a Panther Ausf G chassis with a Panther Ausf A/G turret, armed with a 150mm StuH 43/1 gun. The initial proposal was made by Krupp, while Alkett was working on a similar proposal using the SturmgeschРЎРЉtz III chassis.
