Very nice!

I replaced Italy's transports with the ones supplied by FMG and I bought a group of these to use as tankers in the game. I'm still working out to use them but they are very nice pieces and make a great addition to any game!

Transport your troops to Tripoli

The humble transport is often the most overlooked vessel in a gamer’s flotilla, but you can only stand so many Liberty ships. I replaced all duplicate transports, meaning this ship ousted that German ‘river barge’. First off, it looks the part. Based on a doomed Italian tanker, it scales perfectly with the other transports, (47x5mm – 1.8x0.19in). The Iridio has good details, sitting low & sleek ‘in the water’. It has the same finish as other game pieces, but with a lighter shade brown than usual Italian units, (Eur ‘40 1sted).

Used as Tankers

I used these Italy's transports as they look tankers in the game as I include fuel supplies (fuel depots), ship fuel limitation and refueling as a game factor as it was a major issue with the War with Japan. They are very nice pieces and make a great addition to any game!
