Description

The Convair VA Bomber was a proposed carrier-based land plane designed for long range high altitude horizontal bombing early in the Cold War era. The plane was to have a three man crew consisting of a pilot, a co-pilot/navigator, and a bomber/radar operator.

The airplane had a swept back wing and tail and was powered by three Westinghouse XJ-40-WE-10 Turbojets.
