The V-2  ("Retribution Weapon 2"), technical name Aggregat 4 (A4), was the world's first long-range guided ballistic missile. The missile, powered by a liquid-propellant rocket engine, was developed during the Second World War in Germany as a "vengeance weapon", assigned to attack Allied cities as retaliation for the Allied bombings against German cities. The V-2 rocket also became the first man-made object to travel into space by crossing the Kármán line with the vertical launch of MW 18014 on 20 June 1944 (More on Wiki HERE)

I was looking for a piece that I could use once the Rockets tech is discovered, rather than using the AA guns. This V-2 Rocket Set is more expensive than the Rockets sold under Gaming Accessories, but it is well worth it! These are very detailed, perfectly sized, and fit with the look and feel of the other pieces. The launch pad is a nice touch, and the base conveys the mobile nature of these facilities. I am very happy with these pieces.

This is why playing the Axis is best.
What should the German player do once his strategic bombers have been shot down? Why, break out the rockets. These rockets allow the Germans to do damage to facilities without the risk of losing bombers. Perhaps now I can succeed in bombing the British into submission. You'll want to be sure to pick up some of these for your next game. Sea Lion is a go!
