CCP Arsenal Ship

Chinese arsenal-ship concepts explore concentrating a large number of missile launchers in a specialized surface platform. Public illustrations and proposals document interest in the concept, without establishing the construction or service of a particular warship. The term describes an approach to naval firepower rather than one universally established Chinese class. The concept emphasizes missile volume, potentially accepting reduced independent scouting or command capability in exchange for carrying more launch cells. China’s real Type 055 large destroyers are separately documented ships. Their existence does not confirm that any particular speculative arsenal-ship illustration was approved or constructed. The concept emphasized concentrated missile capacity and cooperation with other ships and sensors rather than a traditional gun armament.
