For my scale 1:3000 Naval Wargames I was looking for scale 1:3000 modern naval miniatures of some nations. Then I saw this! As 3D-platform 'ShapeWays' stopped, it is very difficult to find such a gem. Although it is not very clear which scale is used for Historical Board Gaming, the actual dimensions of most of the models are presented at the website. So that made it clear to me that this model is close enough to my required 1:3000 scale. The 3D prints are very detailed. At the moment I am wondering how to paint them in a realistic colour.

This is a really nice looking little piece and I plan to make use of it in several games. Overall it's got a lot of detail to it, and while light, it's constructed from solid feeling piece of plastic, which means it should hold up to some handling.
