Wing Loong II Drone

Wing Loong II is a Chinese remotely piloted aircraft developed for long-endurance surveillance and strike missions. It enlarged and improved on the earlier Wing Loong concept, with a turboprop engine, long wing, and underwing weapon stations. The type became an export subject as China expanded its uncrewed-aircraft industry. Its history belongs to modern remotely piloted operations, while specific weapons and national service details depend on the customer and configuration represented. Its twin-boom configuration, sensor installation, and underwing weapon stations reflect a combined surveillance and strike mission. Export customers contributed to the international visibility of Chinese unmanned aircraft. A publicly displayed configuration does not establish identical equipment or performance for every operator, since sensors, weapons, and support arrangements can vary.
