Shipping Policy

Order Processing

In-stock orders are normally processed and shipped within 2 business days after payment is confirmed. Business days exclude weekends and holidays.

Processing time is separate from the carrier’s delivery time. If a significant processing delay affects your order, we will contact you.

Shipping Carriers and Rates

Historical Board Gaming (HBG) ships through UPS and USPS.

Shipping charges are calculated at checkout based on your order, destination, and available shipping service.

Worldwide Shipping

We ship worldwide, subject to carrier availability and applicable shipping restrictions. Available shipping options are displayed at checkout.

International shipments may experience additional delays due to customs clearance.

Preorders and Mixed Orders

Orders containing preorder items are held until all items in the order are ready to ship. This includes any in-stock items purchased with a preorder.

If you want in-stock items shipped sooner, please place a separate order for those items.

Preorder availability dates are estimates and may change.

Delivery Estimates and Tracking

Delivery times depend on the shipping service selected and the destination. Carrier delivery estimates are not guaranteed unless the selected service expressly provides a guarantee.

When your order ships, we will provide tracking information using the email address supplied at checkout.

Customs, Duties, and Import Taxes

International orders may be subject to customs duties, import taxes, or handling fees imposed by the destination country.

Unless expressly included or collected at checkout, these charges are the customer’s responsibility and are separate from HBG’s shipping charges.

Shipping Addresses

Please check your shipping address carefully before submitting your order.

If you need to correct an address, contact us as soon as possible. Changes may not be possible once an order has shipped. Additional shipping charges may apply if an order must be reshipped because an incorrect or incomplete address was provided.

Missing or Damaged Shipments

If your order arrives damaged or appears to be lost, contact us at historicalboardgaming@gmail.com with your order number and a description of the issue.

For damaged shipments, please keep the packaging and provide photos of the packaging and affected items so we can help resolve the issue and support any carrier claim.

If tracking shows delivery but you cannot locate the package, check with household members and nearby delivery locations, then contact us for assistance.
